What makes you a good consultant?
“I genuinely enjoy listening to clients and taking the time to understand their business and needs. I’m driven by working closely with clients and building long-term relationships where, as a consultant, I truly become a collaborative partner.”
You have worked with communications for listed companies for many years. What do you see as the strongest trend right now?
“In recent years, much of the focus has been on getting all the pieces in place to meet new sustainability reporting requirements. Now that many companies can take a bit of a breather and lift their gaze, I think we’ll see a renewed focus on communicating more personally and vividly about why they do what they do, not just what they do. This also goes hand in hand with the growing importance of transparency and credibility, especially in light of the vast amount of AI-generated content being circulated.”
What attracted you to Année?
“I see Année as having a very strong offering, a clear niche, and an excellent team. I’m really looking forward to building a strong presence on the west coast together with a great group of colleagues.”
What are the biggest differences between the business communities in Gothenburg and Stockholm?
“That’s a delicate question. Based on my personal experience of working in both Stockholm and Gothenburg, they are quite similar in many ways. Perhaps face-to-face meetings are a bit more important in Gothenburg, and also a bit easier to arrange, which I appreciate, as it’s always nicest to meet in person.
On a broader level, Gothenburg is of course shaped by its strong industrial and automotive heritage, where a lot is happening right now. In addition, the city’s position within shipping and trade makes it unique in Sweden.”
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
“Besides spending time with my family, I try to balance a fairly sedentary office job by staying as active as possible — for example, by running outdoors, preferably in the company of like minded people.”
