What are you most looking forward to working on at Année?

I’m really excited to focus a bit more on ESG communication!  And of course, to be part of Année’s growth journey together with such inspiring and talented colleagues!

What do you think will be the major challenges for companies in the sustainability space in the coming years?

I think one of the biggest challenges for many companies will be keeping up with changing regulations while also accelerating sustainability efforts to actually reach ambitious targets. There’s a lot to handle, not just meeting legal requirements, but also reducing negative impacts. That’s why it’s so important to use new rules as a real driver for improvement. For instance, the data in your sustainability report isn’t just for compliance – it can show you how you’re doing and where to focus efforts to make the biggest difference.

How should companies approach CSRD and the Omnibus Directive now, given that we are entering a sort of transitional year, with stricter requirements that will later be softened?

Good question! Even though Omnibus suggests simplifying future reporting, current legislation still applies, so companies need to be fully compliant during this “transition year”. Some information may need to be reported now, even if it won’t be mandatory later. My advice is to make sure you meet the current requirements, but also use the year strategically: think about which sustainability information is most relevant for your business and stakeholders. It’s really about more than compliance – it’s about building credible, long-term sustainability communication. And having a close dialogue with your auditor is important too, both to interpret the rules correctly and to plan ahead for future reporting.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I take every chance I can to get out of the city! I love going skiing or spending a weekend in the countryside. I also love everything related to food, and my most frequently asked question is, “What should we make for dinner?”
